BELED Suresi

لَا أُقْسِمُ بِهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ وَأَنْتَ حِلٌّ بِهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ وَوَالِدٍ وَمَا وَلَدَ لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي كَبَدٍ أَيَحْسَبُ أَنْ لَنْ يَقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدٌ يَقُولُ أَهْلَكْتُ مَالًا لُبَدًا أَيَحْسَبُ أَنْ لَمْ يَرَهُ أَحَدٌ أَلَمْ نَجْعَلْ لَهُ عَيْنَيْنِ وَلِسَانًا وَشَفَتَيْنِ وَهَدَيْنَاهُ النَّجْدَيْنِ فَلَا اقْتَحَمَ الْعَقَبَةَ وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْعَقَبَةُ فَكُّ رَقَبَةٍ أَوْ إِطْعَامٌ فِي يَوْمٍ ذِي مَسْغَبَةٍ يَتِيمًا ذَا مَقْرَبَةٍ أَوْ مِسْكِينًا ذَا مَتْرَبَةٍ ثُمَّ كَانَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْمَرْحَمَةِ أُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْمَيْمَنَةِ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِنَا هُمْ أَصْحَابُ الْمَشْأَمَةِ عَلَيْهِمْ نَارٌ مُؤْصَدَةٌ

1 BEN bu beldeyi tanıklığa çağırırım,2 senin serbestçe yaşadığın bu beldeyi,3 ve [tanıklığa çağırırım] anne-babayı ve çocukları: 4 Gerçek şu ki, Biz insanı acı, sıkıntı ve imtihan [ile yüklü bir hayat]a gönderdik.5 İnsan, kimsenin kendi üzerinde güç sahibi olmadığını mı zannediyor?6 Övünüp duruyor: “Ben, yığınla servet tükettim!”7 Peki, kimsenin kendisini görmediğini mi sanıyor?8 Biz ona iki göz vermedik mi?9 Bir dil ve bir çift dudak,10 ve ona [kötülüğün ve iyiliğin] iki yolunu da göstermedik mi?11 Ama o, (ucunda cennet olan)sarp yokuşa tırmanmayı denemedi...12Bilir misin nedir o sarp yokuş?13 [O,] boynunu [günah zincirinden] kurtarmaktır;14 yahut [kendi] aç iken (başkasını) doyurmaktır,15 yakını olan bir yetimi,16 yahut toprağa uzanıp kalmış olan [yabancı] bir yoksulu,17 ve imana ermişlerden ve birbirine sabrı ve merhameti tavsiye edenlerden olmaktır.18 İşte böyleleri dürüstlüğe ve erdemliliğe erişmiş olanlardır;19 Bizim mesajlarımızın doğruluğunu inkara şartlanmış olanlar ise kötülüğe batmış kimselerdir,20 üzerlerine salınmış ateş [ile].

1 NAY! I call to witness this land- 2 this land in which thou art free to dwell- 3 and [I call to witness] parent and offspring: 4 Verily, We have created man into [a life of] pain, toil and trial. 5 Does he, then, think that no one has power over him? 6 He boasts, "I have spent wealth abundant!" 7 Does he, then, think that no one sees him? 8 Have We not given him two eyes, 9 and a tongue, and a pair of lips, 10 and shown him the two highways [of good and evil]? 11 But he would not try to ascend the steep uphill road...12 and what could make thee conceive what it is, that steep uphill road? 13 [It is] the freeing of one`s neck [from the burden of sin], 14 or the feeding, upon a day of [one`s own] hunger, 15 of on orphan near of kin, 16 or of a needy [stranger] lying in the dust- 17 and being,withal, of those who have attained to faith, and who enjoy upon one another patience in adversity, and enjoin upon one another patience in adversity, and enjoin upon one another compassion. 18 Such are they that have attained to righteousness: 19 whereas those who are bent on denying the truth of Our messages- they are such as have lost themselves in evil, 20 [with] fire closing in upon them.
