Tekâsür Suresi

أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ  حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ  كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ  ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ  كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ الْيَقِي  لَتَرَوُنَّ الْجَحِيمَ  ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ الْيَقِينِ  ثُمَّ لَتُسْأَلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيمِ

1 BİR aç-gözlülük saplantısı içindesiniz, 2 mezarlarınıza girinceye dek (süren). 3 Ama, zamanı geldiğinde anlayacaksınız! 4 Evet, evet! Zamanı geldiğinde anlayacaksınız! 5 Yoo, eğer bu ( tutkunun neye mal olduğunu) tam kavramış olsaydınız, 6 Elbet (dünyayı) cehenneme (çevirdiğinizi) de görürdünüz; 7 (Tutun ki burada göremediniz), ama daha sonra ahirette onu zaten gözlerinizle göreceksiniz; 8 nihayet o gün, ebedi nimetlerden vaz geçip (geçici nimetlere yönelmenizden) dolayı hesaba çekileceksiniz.

1 YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 2 until you go down to your graves. 3 Nay, in time you will come to understand! 4 And once again: Nay, in time you will come to understand! 5 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 6 you would indeed, most surely, behold the blazing fire [of hell]! 7 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 8 and on that Day you will surely be called to account for [what you did with] the boon of life!
